Do you have a frenemy?

I think we all have someone who falls into that category. I don't shun them, but do understand what I am dealing with. It frustrates them, because shunning is what they want. They go and tell everyone that "Old Alpha" just won't have anything to do with them, and THEY have done nothing! I am reminded of a parable I heard years ago...It went- A man started to wade across a stream, and a snake lying close by asked if the man would carry him across. The man said, "NO! you are a snake and you will bite me!" The snake promised not to bite the man. So the man picked up the snake, waded across, and the snake promptly bit him on the arm..."You bit me!" the man exclaimed...The snake said, "Yes, and you knew I was a snake when you picked me up!" So I deal with "frenemies" like that...I know what I am dealing with, and it just blows their minds that I can handle them. They are looking for a reaction from you, and when you give it to them, they are happy, and you are sad...Beware, keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer....
