Is my graphics card using my excess ram? I have 4gb of RAM in my laptop, however I have windows 7 32 bit.?
No it will not. The reason for this is because the RAM in the graphics card and regular RAM are pretty much two completely different things. you could have 3 gb of regular RAM and 4 gb of RAM in your video card and it wouldn't matter. Just because people should know this, i also want to say that it's the same thing is with the DDR stuff. If you motherboard uses DDR2 RAM, you can still have a graphics card with DDR, DDR3, DDR4, or anything else. Regular RAM and the graphics card RAM have nothing to do with each other.
