Iraq war was launched with 9/11 as pretext.Is Iraq really being liberated as scores of Iraqis r killed daily?

Too bad Iraq didn't get the note that they were liberated and had better take control of their government. The number of Iraqi civilians that have been killed is in the thousands. I don't see it ending anytime soon so I doubt the Iraqis, especially those living in the midst of it, are feeling better about their lives than they did 4 years ago.
