Just an observation but why have the best recent TV talk shows?

have had gay hosts. Of course there was Rosie O' Donnell, then Ellen, now Nate Berkus? And... hmm the jury is still out on Oprah, and now Rachel Maddow. Is it co-incidental? Somehow I can see Neil Patrick Harris as a great host down the line too. What's you take on this?
